my journey as an astrologer

 Fast forward to my teenage years, my growing passion for astrology meant that I set about seriously studying the science with a teacher who had been practicing it for over thirty years. She had amassed a wealth of profound knowledge and experience in the process and I was thrilled to learn from the maturity and holistic nature of her approach. Although an interest in accounting and business led me to pursue it in higher education abroad, my passion for astrology ultimately drew me back to pursue it more deeply in Vrindavan, my home and the town where it all began. 

For me, Astrology is more than mere fortune-telling. It’s a science rooted in the ancient Indian scriptures – the Veda, which allows each individual to discover the myriad dimensions of their unique life, personality and future destiny. It is said that Jyotish (Vedic astrology) is like a light that illuminates the darkness of ignorance with knowledge of the intricacies of one’s self. It is this self-awareness alone that allows us to not only overcome our challenges and face our fears but also to harness our strengths and innate potential. My inspiration on this path is to help my clients discover and cultivate this self-awareness, so they can achieve personal growth and live a life of fulfilment and peace.

About me

I love all things cooking and baking, and often spend my free time in the kitchen trying out new recipes – which are then tested on my friends and family! I’ve been a student of Odissi classical dance since I was five, and danced in hundreds of performances with my guru’s troupe as well as a solo dancer. I feel fortunate to now be teaching this beautiful art form. I’ve also contributed as a writer to ISKCON Vrindavan’s social media site on themes of spirituality and bhakti.
